The food is not the reason you go here, though their food isn't that bad. This place is fun with friends to hang out, for beers and good times, but not for fine dining.

Been there few times. We try to give the place a second chance as its in the very center and in a lovely alley that we like. We had the impression of a rude staff, very busy feeling with no consideration what so ever to the confort of the the people. The food was nice but not more than that.

We were very frequent visitors to this restaurant and have tried it twice since it changed hands. We will not go for a third time. The prices are much higher. the sweet potato soup tasted of nothing - it was like coloured water and the meat was not good. We no longer recommend it

Eldad Vezehu is the place where local students go to have good time and good food. It is not fancy nor sophisticated. It a place where you know you can eat as much as you want without diluting your wallet. The food is typical Israeli food - fresh, tasty and not pretentious

We've eaten at the restaurant to celebrate Rosh Hashana. The tables by the toilets needed to be rearranged so we could sit as a group although we've booked for a party of 12. The toilets smelled like public toilets in a gas station. The food was mediocre minus with tons of pretentious. Vezeho= enough in Hebrew. That sums the experience.... More

Classic Israeli dining options featuring grilled meats, salads and an excellent bar. Tip: Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of one of (new) Jerusalem's small laneways by sitting outside - but carefully check directions - the entry to the lane off Jaffa Street is only a door width.

We've eaten here for years but last night was the pits: - menu selections reduced by +/- one-third to one-half; - prices raised; - what was included now costs extra; - poor service despite an empty restaurant, 6 servers and only one other party of 8; AND - our two steaks had to be returned for further cooking despite explicit... Remember Eldad Vezehoo from their glory days many years ago? Now erase that memory and read up. We ate there three days ago and it was horrible. The "chef" is new according to the waiter. He knows nothing about cooking, that's for sure. The waiter took our order and messed up on each and every one of them. When we... More

The fish and chicken mains were good as was the burger. The sirloin and beef pasta were both very average and we would not recommend them. The chocolate desserts were good though. Overall, a fairly mixed experience. Not sure we would go back.
