Known for the best falafel and humus in JLM. Also serving mostly home style cooking - lots of locals eating here. Can be crowded and noisy at lunch time. Very fair prices.

Saw this place last year when we were here but could never get a seat - always packed out. Last night, the Eve of Independece Day we passed and there was a free table. Had the most delicious hummus I have tasted in Jerusalem. Would certainly go back just for the hummus.

Ta'ami has great hummus, since it is made daily its taste and consistency will vary. There are two locations which I know of: Shamai street at the center of town and General Pierre Koenig street in Talpiyot near the Bet Hadar mall

Great food, no ambience. Fine with me. Excellent goulash, rice and beans, humus. Real down home.
