We have ordered a place for 6 people. Specifcly asked to sit inside. This was confirmed to us. When we came we were lead to a table out side. As we explained the situation the manager at the restaurant arrogantly shook us of. A place that treats its costumers with such disrespect cannot have good energy to its food.

we were two couples, had 3 appetizers, 4 meals, 2 deserts and glass of wine each. The food was very good, although the dishes are quite small, cost us over 1000 NIS for 4 people.

The restaurant is very popular, and the staff cannot meet the demand. We had to wait for our food for more than an hour, and nobody seems to care. Some plates never arrived. It is a shame, because the food is good.

It is not easy to get a table for 5 on a Friday Evening in Tel Aviv. We felt lucky to make a reservation at HaBasta. The restaurant was full, which, as we have learned, was beyond the capacity of the staff and the kitchen. We waited for a long time. Even simple items such as water, drinks, and the... More

I have not had the misfortune to be in such a badly run restaurant in several years. Our party ordered a number of small plates to share, a salad and two of our party ordered hot dishes. Our drinks took 45 minutes to arrive, and the water we repeatedly requested was never served. Most of our food did not arrive... More

We went to a Farewell meal for our guest in tel Aviv, so we chose the HaBasta. We went there and it was crowded, but it looked nice. We decided to order Shawarma and calamari and some side dishes. It took a hour till our cola came with the wine. We didn't even get our water!! They forgot our salad... More

This place is one of my favorites. It's well-loacted at Shuk Hacarmel (Hacrmael market in Hebrew). The service is quite good but do not expect a speedy one. I'd recommend on coming at Thursday's nights. The place is packed with Israeli celebrates As for the food, I'd defiantly state that there are no falls here! The food is fresh, delicious,... More

I know it'sTel Aviv, and in most cases, service and ambience are not big selling points, but at least CAN YOU TRY a little? Went for supper, The waiters: attitude like they just got out of bed, and customers? What are they doing here?? Who needs customers? what a nuisance! And can the waiters TRY to dress like they're working?... More

Just a suckers trap...the chair almost cut my spouse fingers, limited menu, rude waiters and prices in the sky.

Directly located in a side street of the Carmel market, this restaurant is a must for fish and seafood lovers. Very wi d e choice of fish and seafood dishes. Well chosen wines which go fine with the fish dishes and good cafe and deserts to close the menu. To recommend without restrictions. If you do not have reserved, bring... More
