Nice restaurant. Professional service. However, most of the food is at average level and also made from non-expensive ingredients - which doesn't reflect in the very high prices. The humus with the meat is fine - but you can get a much bigger dish at...More

‪David and Yossef Downtown‬ is an expensive restaurant that is usually full of customers and looks tempting even more when you get to the menu but I didn't enjoy it as much. I think it lacks finesse and a finishing touch, also prices aren't reasonable...More

First of all, be prepared to pay, pricing (especially for wine) is on the top scale. Food is very good and creative, portions are a bit on the small size but nothing out of the ordinary when comparing to other chef restaurants. Service was good...More

The place, service and food were amazing! The stake was well when we asked medium but that was the only mistake (although it's a big one)

The dishes are creative - especially remember an "egg plant" dish (you'll have to discover it) which was delicious. The service was also good. However, pretty expensive for what it was.

We travel a lot and always like to try the " best" restaurants in a new city. But I'm getting a bit fed up with that plan. This is typical of those places. Far too expensive for what is offered. Very ordinary food. Obviously more...More

Description
Restaurant "David and Joseph" DOWNTOWN located 21 Montefiore Street, Tel Aviv. Chef Dudu Almkias, behind 10 years of experience acquired in restaurant kitchens in the country and abroad alongside Chef Yossi Shitrit, with a wealth of experience in some of Israel's leading restaurants. They started out together about 3 years ago, a small structure bar at Jeremiah Street with 16 seats and dreamed of opening a quality institution that serves Mediterranean cuisine serving fish and seafood, along with fine alcohol with a special focus to music and the atmosphere speaks for itself. The dream became a reality and after three years in the small building, the restaurant moved in January 2013 to its new and distinguished place - 21 Montefiore Street The restaurant is spread over two floors and an outdoor terrace overlooking the street. Much work has put into the sound system and interior acoustics and the opening of the restaurant accompanied by consultant DJ "funky Fish" who has formed a unique music for the restaurant.
