After 30 days of ME / Mediterranean cuisine I was craving something different. Thai House was a perfect solution. The food is authentic ( I would know asI have lived in Thailand and as cuisines go its my top favorite) The restaurant is extremely busy...hence service suffers but reservations are a must or you have to wait a looooong time to get seated. The menu is varied and extensive with popular dishes like Tom Yam & Pad Thai but they also have other exotic additions. Thai House serves Pork, Beef, Chicken and a selection of fish all prepared by Thai Chefs. The bill is steep but well worth it. One of the best meals I’ve had in Israel. Would I eat there again. I was not impressed with Thai House. The fact that they had vegetarian selections was what attracted me. I ordered Pad San Lian with egg noodles and tofu. I asked if they could cook it with some hot peppers. I was told no and the...server brought some dried red peppers to "do it myself." The dish was no better than what I can get from a fast food place, at twice the price. The noodles were broken into little pieces and well past al dente. The homemade tofu had no advantage over store bought, and brought no variety in taste or texture to the dish. Since I was there with my wife and guests, I didn't send it back and suffered in silence. At the end of the meal, we were brought the bill and once we paid were told that it was time to leave as they needed the table. As I worked in the restaurant business in NYC when I was younger, I am aware of how many covers are needed per table. But to ask guests to leave is just bad taste. Thai House - suck it up and let us enjoy ourselves. Thanks to very attentive servers, but I doubt I'll go back.More

I went to Thai house as per recommendation of a friend. The place is very cosy and stylish, staff are friendly, caring and very patience, when it comes to explain what’s on the menu and what the different dishes include. This is a very popular restaurant in Tel Aviv! It's hard to get a reservation but waiting is worth it! Very authentic design and the food is delicious. I was many times in Thailand, so I can compare :-). We had such a nice service...team this evening. Visited here for a team building dinner. If you are not into sharing menus this place is not for you. when we placed our order we were advised that the orders will not come together fine, BUT no one told us that the time between...each order would be 20-30 mins such that I got my order first and by the time the person next to me got her order it was 20 mins later and it was almost an hour later that the last person got his order. So it meant we were eating alone. So make it clear at the door if you are not ordering sharing menu then this place is not suitable for you. Next ask for anything and again it takes 10-20 mins before you get it, may it be a fork, or extra glass of water. And then the food! not even close to what it says on the menu. ordered the whole fried Sea bass. well no you do not get a whole sea bass. you get a few pieces of fish with a ton of peanuts and cashews. its more nuts than fish. others at the table also did not mention anything amazing about their food so it was not just one bad dish coming out from the kitchen.
