If you want falafel and hummus in Amman there are several much better places. The whole area smells of rubbish and is generally filthy. The toilets are a disgrace (remember that the people preparing and serving your food also use this). The falafel is poor quality with too much old bread used in the mix. It's not the cheapest place,... More

Good quick and cheap Jordanian style eating. Not for the faint hearted, the waiters do not speak english and it is a nightmare to order the right food; however, if you point to the dishes which are colourfully displayed, you are a winner. Very affordable, clean and delicious authentic food

If you feel like hummus and associated stuff; falafel, fatteh ..etc, then Hashim is the best place to go. The quality and the authenticity of this restaurant is un-matched. The price is reasonable and the experience is priceless!

do not bother with menu. just order the mix. they know what to serve and this will be the best felafel and hummus you'll ever eat. and when you'll order a bill it will be so cheap you whished you had more. if you have a hotel near by, skipp hotel breakfast and come here. they are open 24/7.

This is a place not much advertised and has no frills attached to it . It's literally a tent supported by a wall . People and especially locals come here to eat hummus , falafel and mutabel . The whole breakfast cost us 6-7JD and we were three women . We hogged on our food . Thus is just off... More

No need to spend a fortune on great food in Amman. Would never have found this place if it wasn't for guide but I'm sure taxi drivers must know this place by heart. The falafel is great - try the large one rolled in sesame seeds with onion inside - the hummus is sublime with lots of olive oil and... More

Great local jordanian breakfast with the locals, good staff, waiter took us into the kitchen showed us the options since no menu - this worked fine, had hummous, falafel, chick peas option, hubz bread and local tea. Great little place, good price.

The restaurant is famous across the major countries of the world and located at the heart of the downtown of Amman. The display of the restaurant reflects what was written about the restaurant in local and international newspaper and magazines in different languages. Traditional dishes such as; soya, Homs and Flafel are being served with pure olive oil besides tea... More

It's a local place that our Jordanian guide took us to and would be a real bonus to international travelers! It has fantastic food - the best we had on our 15 day trip to Israel and Jordan. All vegetarian: three different kinds of hummus, stuffed and regular felafel, fresh tomatoes and onions, what we would call French fries.
