I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for the first two weeks of December and had dinner at Indochine more nights than not. First off, you should know that the Indochine concept was not a success and the restaurant has been re-branded as "Grass and Grain" t least temporarily. My notes on the menu: Pretty good burger. Liked the steak sandwich... More

I've been staying at the Hyatt since 2007 and continue to be impressed by the great majority of staff. Here at Grain & Grass I was warmly welcomed as a solo guest (here on business) and given just the right amount of attention to make me feel homely and cared for. In addition the food was great and the price... More

I was staying at the Hyatt and had been told to try Indochin. I was initially upset to learn the restaurant had changed to 'Grass and Grain', but the service of employees like Baha quickly changed my mind. Great service, food and drinks. Thank you!

The temporary Grain and Grass (Grass and Grain?) has some of the most welcoming stafff in Amman. Baha is the best, but everyone is great. Baha is always there and ready to help customers have an enjoyable evening. The beer is good, the hubbly bubbly is lovely, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

The ongoing event Grain & Grass is based on a smart concept - smaller dishes with very competitive prices and a nice selection of drinks, especially with the outstanding local craft beer "Carakale" on draft. The staff is fantastic and seems to enjoy the music and the "new" atmosphere, too. Try the Mongolian Beef (ask to add some chilis) or... More

Truly enjoyed dinner at Indochine at the Grand Hyatt in Amman. Came in on a whim and was immediately given a seat with friendliness and quickness by Baa'ha, an absolutely incredible waiter who made sure to check at just the right times throughout the meal as to if there was anything else I needed. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and... More

Disappointing. We had a lovely seat on the balcony outside overlooking the outdoor courtyard. We ordered spicy breaded (crumbed) prawns and rice and Vietnamese Pho Bo. The soup was very bland and lacked those tasty Vietnamese spices. Service was impeccable. Pleasant evening watching the ceremony surrounding a wedding arriving. I would have liked to see more authentic Vietnamese flavours.
