A roof top terrace with nice seating, staff is friendly and quick to help you. We (2 persons) ate 2 mezzes and both a main course, which is a lot of food! Good came quickly and was reasonably priced. We also drank a local beer, a blond ale. We paid 35 JOD! And got a complementary coffee or tea.

Very friendly staffs, best service we have had so far in Jordan. Food was delicious. Good prices and portion. Excellent location with beautiful view from terrace. Menu could have been more extensive.

My wife and I dined at bawabit on its terrace. The view on the Town's church and mosque after sunset when the towers are lighted was probably the nicest view during our whole stay in Jordan. We also had a chat with the architect who designed the new building and runs the place. The service was extremely polite and after... More

After a week in Jordan, the food and service at this restaurant stand head and shoulders above the rest! From the minute you walk in the door you instantly feel welcomed and taken care of. The restaurant is large and can accommodate larger parties if necessary. There was also a rooftop patio with beautiful views opening soon, it will be... More

After spending a few hours wandering around the mosaic locations of Madaba I was in need of some good food and found it in this lovely restaurant. I had the local Madaba chicken special and was thoroughly delighted - it was a tasty treat. My friend had the mixed grill, which was also mouth watering. if you are hungry -... More

We decided to try this place out mainly because of the seating arrangements with the view overlooking the church and whilst the staff were very friendly the meal was terrible. The mixed grill was so dry, the chips soggy and the chicken and cheese looked slightly undercooked. It was such a shame and I feel terrible giving such a bad... More
