The Worst Indian Restaurant., I have ever come across in the Whole Middle East..Can Indian food be ever made the way they make here and that too by Lebanese Chef.,who made not only a rotten food but doesnot even know how to make Naan...What else could be more that one finds Non Veg pieces in Vegetarian food.... Never ever think... More

We were staying in the same hotel (which was wonderful in service). Unfortunately this restaurant is a black dent in a beautiful and service oriented hotel - Markazia Monroe Suites. The service is terrible. The cook (and I use this term loosely ... As clearly they don't have anything close to a chef) has no clue about Indian authenticity about... More

They dont have indian chef, the food is made by lebanese chef . The authenticate indian taste is missing. Food is expensive. I ordered Bhindi masala which was a disaster. The serving was mix of Baingan , Bhindi and mix veg. The entire dish was screwed up. Absolutely bad service. So please dont waste your money I would rather suggest... More

I'm into spicy food to an extent. Jai provides that for me. The menu is varied & accommodates different taste buds. What I liked most about Jai is its anti-Lebanese theme, in the sense that it is not posh & out there: a couple of tables are put on a closed off street and for a while you feel that... More

Ever since Mahrajah closed, we have been looking for a good Indian restaurant in Beirut. Reading the reviews of Jaipur on TA got us excited, but the experience left us deflated. - The food lacked the taste of Indian food, as if the chef missed to add the main spices - The food was warm but not hot - The... Went there for lunch with my date. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, so he helped us choose half spicy and half not with a wide variety. The interior is very nice and music is relaxing (although not Indian music). Sadly the restaurant was empty on Saturday noon, it definitely needs strong advertisement. Location is great... More

Craving for Indian food in Beirut after having rolls and sandwiches for three days, we were looking for Indian cuisine and found Jaipur. Surprised a bit to see we were the only guest in the restaurant till it took a while for us to realize we are in Lebanon. However the staff was very polite and helpful and knowledgeable about... Tried Roti, Briyani, Chicken & Shrimp. Fresh and tastes good. Rice is though half cooked and hard. Staff are courteous. but some how not crowded even night times.

Bit bland and tasteless, service not that great. Restaurant is well set out with some character but also doubles as main eating area for hotel Makes Lebanese food more appealing.

Indians would renounce their citizenship after eating this so called food as it literally has nothing to do with anything remotely-related to India.
