Malaysian cuisine in Doha. The location is so strategic at Souq Waqif. Authentic Malasyian food and the menu includes malaysian drinks and desserts.

I chose to go for comfort on my first meal at doha. Two of us ordered a beef rendang, char kuay teow, satay and tofu veg. I have to say it tastes authentic though not fantastic. It still is a good find for malaysian food at doha and the price was ok. We ordered too much for the two of... More

Love their food, love the place as well at Souq Waqif. Food tastes good. Their chicken rendang, Satay, Nasi Lemang, and Mee Bandung. Their Thai Tom Yum also taste good. Avalable drinks are delicious also. Try their Barley and Lychee Drinks

I'm not a desperate follower of Malaysian food, but if you like it - you must definitely visit Sri Kebaya restaurant in Souq Wakif. Food is genuinely authentic (unlike other "Malaysian" restaurants in Doha) and restaurant ambiance is basic but nice. Service is OK (nothing special) and restaurant is relatively easy to find.

I had a nasi goreng with sates and a coke. food was ok, good flavour. in the end it cost 5 rials more than what the menu said, but it still was only 39 rials. so the price was ok. the place is like all the Souq Waqif restauants, ok, but not very special. service was kind.

After 3 years in Doha, I figured I would try a new restaurant at the Souq instead of my usual favorites. I can't believe I had never given this place a shot before! I was a little apprehensive, as I had never knowingly tried Malaysian food before and there were not many other diners. However, there are so many options... More

The Wandering Yank here again. For 2 years my wife and I have walked past Sri Kebaya and never tried it. It never looked very busy, not a good sign. Last night, a very busy Saturday in Souq Waqif, we were in the mood for something not too heavy. We had been to the nearby Jasmine Thai before, but I... More

Went here with a friend who is craving for a south east Asian food. DID NOT DISAPPOINT MY TASTE BUDS, but the server could have been more service oriented, looks like she's bored or something. Tasty food and refreshing drinks.

Dropped in for a light evening meal. All of the food we ordered was tasty, fresh and well seasoned. Drinks were refreshing. Good service.

The food is overpriced, we can get better meals elsewhere with the price we've paid. An omelet for QAR12, sambal udang (with only 4 to 5 pieces of small shrimps) for QAR40, a plain white rice for QAR10!!!. OMG.
