Visited this place for lunch during a working day. We had a 4 course meal that was outstanding in every way. My favorite part the end: a dark chocolate raspberry dessert. I know you normally need reservations, but i guess we were just lucky we were able to walk in.

We had the experience menu, where your food is matched with the mock tails that are available. It was the best dining experience in Doha. We were the only table and it felt like we had booked the restaurant for private dining. Saying that, we were not disturbed by the staff and they magically seem to be there only when... More

Situated on the top floor of the Museum of Islamic, IDAM is a truly amazing location offering great views across the water to the towers of West Bay. We went there for lunch and the experience was beyond expectations. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and elegant environment. The food was delicious and I could not help but mopping up... We had been intending to visit Idam for some time as over the past few years we have visited many starred restaurants so Idam looked right up our street. It's situated on the top floor of the MIA museum opposite Souk waqif. We ate dinner and could drive straight up to the entrance where valet parking awaited. We were greeted... More

Located on the top floor of the Museum of Islamic Art, this restaurant exceeds expectations. If you are from North America, dispense with any preconceived notions about "museum dining". This is a destination restaurant. We went for lunch and ordered the three course option, but it turned out to be more than three courses. Numerous treats arrived throughout the 2... More

Last night we went to IDAM at the MIA for our wedding anniversary, it was fantastic. We chose the experience menu with beverage pairing priced at 690QR each. It would take far too long to list each dish but our favourites were the lamb samosas, red snapper, squid and shrimp ravioli, hammour, squab and date soufflé. The food was delicious... More

On the fifth floor of the iconic Musesum of Islamic Art, Idam is a truly amazing location. The decor is striking, different but comfortable. The service is impeccable: attentive but unobtrusive. The food is extraordinary: quality, variety and flavours surpass even the highest expectations. This was my first visit for lunch and I admit that I was a little concerned... More

We tried the following strategy: I had the vegetable compote, and my wife had the special lunch menu, costing some 200 QR. Of course, she shared her items with me. Even with this strategy, we had more than enough to eat, and could not finish each and every item that was brought to the table. This is one of the... More

I've had dinner here twice. Both were extraordinary. Honestly, almost impossible to describe the quality of the service, food, atmosphere, views, etc. And if you are a fan of classical music you can even make a reservation for dinner on one of the evenings there's a concert in the atrium of the museum and enjoy the sounds from below.

We went to celebrate my partner's birthday. And it was really really nice! The food, the service, the set up, the view! I give it a huge kudos to this outstanding place! There's attention to detail on everything I truly believe this place is hands off one of the best restaurants in Doha. The amuse bush wow! The bread cart... More
