This restaurant is my favorite in Punta. Great selection of meats and local fish. The bread basket will draw you in with the oil and vinegar. Wine selection is huge. Great place to linger on a late lunch afternoon. Professional waiters know what you need. Go there, will not be disappointed. Love this country, the people and the food.

Very picturesque and relaxing location overlooking the playa mansa. If only the food were of the same quality. I had the filet and it was very fatty and tough. Salad and French fries were good. It may have been a bad cow day so don't take it off your list.

Very pleasant restaurant with tables outside by the shore as well as an air conditioned and attractive location across the street with nice picture windows. I had a very good fish for lunch and my wife had a sandwich that she enjoyed. Service was rather slow but not seriously so and the food good but not outstanding. Good place for... More

Very good restaurant, specially for meats, the principal Uruguayan food. Excellent location in front of the sea, very good attention. I do not agree with a couple of reviews that say the food wasn't good. I went several times and the meat was always grilled as requested. Quite expensive, but I found that Uruguay is generally expensive, and this one... More

Although they don't speak much english, they try to help and are proud of their food and quality. Great sangria and drinks. Great BBQ meats. Ask for your steak 'rojo' (red) and don't worry - they'll serve you great chorizo, blood sausage, steaks, ribs and more. We saw great looking fresh grilled fish on other tables, portions of fries (papas... More

The restaurant is very well located on the Boardwalk (La Rambla) with a splendid view on the Rio de la Plata. It was a rainy night, so we had to dine inside: clean and inviting. The food was fabulous: first as appetizer we had a "Clericot" , a white sangria and as the main course we had an "Ojo de... More

We had a large table with some friends. The place has a great view of the seaport and the sunset made it special. You can eat over the beach or inside (we thought it was windy outside and we ate in). The good was good. It was good meat but there were no sides. We also had pastas and seafood,... More

This restaurant is beautiful. Great view! The food unfortunately isn't that great. My steak was very tough, good flavour, but overcooked. It also doesn't come with anything (some steaks do) but you have to pay for veggies or any sides. My friends both had a different risotto, both of which they said were not bad, but not great. The service... More

Overcooked sweetbreads and meat. They didn't offer lemon to go with the sweetbreads. Really bad customer service, and price-quality ratio is poor.

The meal was totally tasteless. I ordered a dish called "asado de tira" with rice and fries. The meat was greasy and difficult to chew and the rice was very bad. The restaurant is well located and you have a good view of the beach and sunset and I think these are the only positive aspect of it. One last... More
