I am an Expat originally from NY, i eat here often and am very happy with the food! I haven't tried the whole menu but the dishes I choose are always very fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Fuji-Teishoku #84, excellent every time! Best sushi I have found so far in La Paz! Recommended! :)

My husband and I used to come here very often but this is the first time we came this year and we were truly disappointed. The entree and soy sauce were extremely salty and when we asked the waiter about it he said that's just how their sauce was. The tempura we ordered was soggy when it arrived and the... More

The menu is very big, so all tastes - as long as you are looking for East Asian food - are accommodated. Lots of Japanese patrons testify to its authenticity. The reviewers who found it to be Chinese rather than Japanese may have misled by the fact that ramen noodles type dishes were included in the menu, but this is... More

A lot of elements in the menu are Chinese, not Japanese. Also for international customers there is not avacado or salmon in the menu at all, they replace everything with trout and carrots. Service is ok, but the food is defently not authentic Japanese. The place is not nice at all, looks a little bit abandoned.

Found online, in Japanese society building on 1st floor. Basic decor but gave good vibes. Extensive menu. Both of us had a 'set meal' each. Went away full. Delicious Japanese food. Sushi was good, tempura was good, miso was good, good sekection of drinks. Price mid-range ~70bob for a set meal. Worth finding.

This is a Japanese restaurant designed to attract both Japanese and non-Japanese patrons. The food is authentic, and the atmosphere concentric. There is a Japanese lending library, which I witnesses a Japanese patron use to read a book while dining. And there are 2 dining rooms, one with tables and chairs and another where you remove your shoes before entering... More

This is a nice place that has various seating arrangements (some on the floor). It is very reasonably priced compared to many other Japanese places in La Paz. The food is pretty standard, and the service is good.

We were craving a change in food and found Ken-Chan st the top floor of a Japonese cultural center. Clean place, and great service, but what really impressed us was the food. We had ramen and put stickers and they were both outstanding and not expensive. Yum!

I came to this supposedly "Japanese" restaurant because it's located in the Japanese-Bolivian cultural center of La Paz, so I thought it should be good and above all authentic food almost like in Japan. BUT I was really disappointed when I tasted the teishoku and sushi there! It tasted so disgusting and had nothing to do with real Japanese food... More
