A local told us about this restaurant yesterday so we decided to show up at their doorstep today unannounced. The Uber driver took us to the provided address but neither he nor us knew if it was the correct place or not. After ringing the door bell, an employee answered and confirmed that it was indeed the restaurant. She went... More

Best Mexican Restaurant with amazing service!! Great experience with traditional Mexican flavors with a Colombian twist. Best plate giant shrimp and asado de tira. Fully recommended

No words to describe the feelings that agave azul inspires! No menu, rustic feel, and the owner always tends the small restaurant. A must for true foodies.

Wow, a small restaurant that runs in a house patio reason why they only have 7 tables, but this is not bad you should think, I am not complaining about the food, food was OK for the price is just OK, my complain is about the chefs acttitued, she is extremely RUDE, they bombarded us with food and when we... There is no sign outside this restaurant. You go to the door and ring the doorbell and they let you in. There is a small dining room and adjacent kitchen. The food is carefully prepared, excellent Mexican cuisine. From reading the other reviews, you should realize that if you are the sort of diner who likes to be in charge... More

Went there with high expectations yet the food, although ok, was not as superb as I expected. Given the small servings, prices are really inflated! The setting and the atmosphere are nice given that there are only a few need-to-reserve tables available. Margaritas definitely great and a wide selection to choose from! And the fact that there are somewhere around... More

Lets be honest food is great! I don't have any thing to complain about it and it is delicious. Sadly, service and chef attitude is somehow the opposite. Place is very small and you have to reserve before you go. They only have 7 tables in a small house in the city center and space is very limited, but this... More

I loved the concept of not having to order, which makes life so much easier. Each dish was amazing and so were the margaritas! Make a reservation as they only have a few tables. We went late in the evening and were able to snag a table without a reservation.

Restaurant is tucked away and I believe one of the owners made it a point to discuss each dish as it was presented. There was a variety of awesome margaritas. The atmosphere is very casual and made for great conversation where no one is expected to eat and leave. The dishes were flavorful and interesting.

It is hard not to like the food in Agave Azul. However, we will never return. The staff is downright unpleasant and complete snobs. We were actually told that we could not be serve the full degustation menu because “they did not know us”. Never again.
