I should have consulted Tripadvisor before going to this hole! I've been in amazing places in Bogotá and I stupidly follow the recommendation of a local to dine in this horrible, dirty place. I should have left before it got into worse: other than the view this place guarantees a rip-off (almost 140 USD for lousy, frozen food that took... More

This is the worst I've had in years! a) it took over an hour to get the the meals on the table despite of the fact that the place was almost empty. b) very run down place, no ambience, extremely loud music. c) Cold!!! d) prices out of reality, a meal for three people for almost USD140!!! For such a... More

If you want to feel robbed this is the place to go, the person in the door "hostess" sell you something and at the end they charge whatever they want. It's a shame that is not a 0 to be qualify in tripadvisor. Worst place to go

Its a total rip off. They would not bring our mains because we hadnt ordered beer. Yes, believe it. Asked the waitress about the menus and it seems she had been hired 5 minutes before taking our order. The said they dont carry coca cola, but in the entrance says "restaurant". The owner ran away when we reqyested speaking to... More

At first, place seems charming and you wonder why it's empty. Then you realize the place and staff are a hot scorching mess. Ambiance: the side of the restaurant that faces the city has "floor" to ceiling plexiglass. The plexiglass was cracked at best and missing entire pieces which lent itself to a cold gust of wind which made you... More

Extremely expensive. Slow and bad service. Dirty. Terrible food. So in this place you ask for a beer and they bring you a yard which is already about 10 usd. The beef we ask for was about 20 and was still alive that my father in law couldn't eat it. The chips we ordered with it came 5 minutes after... More

Came to El Mirador in the Hotel de la Opera during a guided walking tour of old Bogota. Breath-taking 360 views to die for, private dining room on the roof for sufficiently large groups. Many wonderful photo opportunities. Do not come here for a hurried business lunch (possibly an oxymoron anywhere in South America, but this place broke records in... More

At this mirador the only nice thing is the view. First they tricked us into entering the place offering "wine for free" (that we didn't even want). Then they didn't show us the menu even when we insisted, trying to make us order drinks and meals we didn't want. We wanted something simple, so in the end we ordered two... More

Romantic! Live Music! BEAUTIFUL view of Bogota city in the evening! Nice guitar player and singer in the evening. You must definitely want to go outside and order "canelazo" from the ladies outside, specially the one with "agua ardiente" which is similar to rum. Delicious! Very good service at the restaurant. Yes I said Romantic.
