Good local seafood - had the mangrove crab / steamed parrot fish, and they were both delicious. Pick your crab from the tank and choose the style of preparation.

If you eat out in Palau, you're not going to get smiles and super politeness. It is what it is. But at MogMog, not only are you paying for probably the most expensive seafood on the island, but the beer too! So what justifies the price; the service or the food? Neither, it's all delusional. We visited many restaurants and... More

I understand food in the islands can be hit or miss. But in the case of Mog Mog it's further than a miss. I am very confused as to how this place could be any higher than 1 star on tripadvisor. It doesn't take a top chef, a foodie or an Anthony Bourdain to know what the basic expectations are... More

Not inexpensive, but some very nice cuisine here. Some platters will hold up an order, especially the crab. Had the pepper mangrove clam. Excellent sauce but it's on the OUTSIDE of the cooked crab. Something of a mismatch. Might be better to put it on the side for dipping once you've cracked and dissected out the crab from its hard,... More

I had Sashimi on Sushi Rice and a side of vegetables. The fish was soggy without texture and not fresh, the supposed sushi rice was without seasoning as smelled like reheated leftover rice. I am a fisherman and I am Japanese and I know quality sashimi and sushi rice. The fresh greens with bacon was also bad. What a shame... More

We went there to try some local food and the "mix" of 9 different local food was very nice. Also local beer available for a 100% Palauan meal

We ordered the local Palau food - it comes with a number of vegetables - all very tasty, a bit of stuffed crab, yams, raw fish, cooked teriyaki fish, some of the best squid I ever tasted , and more. Very good, well worth the price of $25 but it is enough for two.
