The various different menus available in one restaurant is unusual to find in this town. There is a western, a thai, and a pizza menu all available.

I stayed at the King Sol for six months in 2016. The staff are always attentive - if there is anything wrong, they are onto it pronto. The room was cleaned daily and was quite comfortable.

We moved here from the Casino Hotel after the last straw. This place is priced as though it is the Hyatt, but it is no Hyatt. Staff are lazy and random, rooms are dirty and service is nonexistent.

This hotel and it's restaurant have seen better days. The breakfast offerings are sorry. The setting is morose and dank. There are far better places to eat.

Staying at the hotel, this was an easy option for us. But the food really hit the right note. Great Thai curries and Pineapple rice, really tasty chili crab, but be prepared to devote some time to pick it clean. Well worth it. The wine list is tricky, it's easier to check and see what they actually have in stock,... More

most of the patrons here at the hotel are ex-pats that live and work in Honiara so naturally the meals on offer from the Hotel cater towards western tastes. If you are after a good value, no fuss pub meal then go no further.

Been traveling between UK and Solomon for five plus years now and this been always my home away from home. You must try breakfast and lunch at their Bambou Cafee. And make sure you do not miss the evening dinner and music in main restaurant. The pub is always great. Shane and his wife are Australians who own and manage... More

Cable car is novel, rooms clean and basic. Bit musty, bit dated but not horrible. Wouldnt get in the pool, dodgey. Restaurant very 80s but food is best you'll get in Honiara.

King Solomon Hotel has the best pizza in town. The restaurant offers entertainments on Fridays and Saturdays.A great place to be.

Description
Visited here in 2010 for a fantastic seafood buffet dinner. Tried again in 2011 but in between me booking and the night I went, they had changed to a set menu. While cheaper at $100SOL per person, it was nothing fantastic with minimal topping on my pizza.
