Warm welcome. The food was served quickly and the beef is really really great. As good as in buenos Aires. Just try. We went there walking and it started raining a lot. The boss took us back to our hotel in his own car. Thanks...More

This is a really nice restaurant in Kinshasa with excellent food. Friendly and professional waitstaff. Good variety of choices on the menu. Highly recommend Chez Philo as a dining option while in Kinshasa. Calm and relaxing ambience.
Location is a bit of the boulevard; and parking smallish but everything else here was top. The service was spotless; quick and attentive. The place had a nice decor and plenty of tables for a quiet meal. We were four adults and had beef (fillet)...More

Philo is a safe choice, calm place, not pretentious with a large selection of classic bistro food including local dishes and game meat (not from endangered species). Ambiance is cool and the service is good.
A couple of the best meals we ate in Kinhasa, and not jaw-dropping expensive like so many others. Great fillet steak, venison, fish. My only complaint is the chilling airconditioning.
