We decided to visit this restaurant during our time in Yangon based on a review in the London Evening Standard. The colonial building is beautiful and there was a great atmosphere. The service was great and attentive throughout. Perhaps it was because we picked dishes from the Myanmar section but the food was not great. The Pickled Tea salad wasn't... More

An interesting building within walking distance of our accommodation. It has been recommended to us by our walking guide, and I am pleased we took his advice. From the moment you arrived, the service was very good, attentive without hovering, and very efficient. The menu was interesting with choices of different styles; we chose to have Myanmar dishes and weren’t... More

Large selection of dishes divided into country sections, includes western if you want that. Lovely presentation and taste - Myanmese soup and tempura vegetables were highlights. Would recommend for a nice meal, slightly more pricey than street noodles, obviously!

We spent a month travelling around Myanmar and our last stop was Yangon. We had found Monsoon restaurant on Trip Advisor and were so glad we visited it for our last night in this beautiful country. The restaurant is elegant and understated - the staff (of which there are many) are attentive but unobtrusive. The menu is extensive offering Burmese,... More

A variety of menu can startle you if you are visiting this place for the first time. The local burmese food is great. A variety of drinks to choose from. The service is more than enough. The place can be a little dull sometimes but it's a great place for business meetings from my exp.

As this restaurant is conveniently located in the down town Yangon, and most travel agents selling Yangon City tour, this place is quite right of saving time and there has a wide range of dishes available. From an individual to group tours are stopping here for lunch and it's quite crowded here sometimes. Foods are tasteful and delicious especially traditional... More

Love the selection of indochine food here, they have Burmese, Thai , Cambodia , Laos and Vietnamese food. My Favourite is the tea leaves salad and pork curry. I am surprise how good is the Burmese wine too.

Pomelo is next door so great to shop then have dinner. Great variety of Asian foods from various SE Asian countries. Ambience is warm with white linen table cloths at a very reasonable price. Building is a fine example of colonial Architecture
