We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. There were Western, Indian, Chinese and Japanese dishes. There were few things that one would call Burmese. The service (beverages and clearing the table) was excellent and the staff friendly. The cost was included in our room rate so I cannot comment on the cost.

I'll just enumerate: sushi, caprese salad, soft shell crab, prawns, tandoori chicken, fish, mussels, curries, loads of vegetables, 10 desserts, cheeses, coffee... All for 25USD and all delicious and with amazing service! I was losing my hope on eating nice food while in Myanmar until I came here. Definitely worth the few extra bucks. Must pop over for lunch when... More

We have seen a few breakfast spreads this magnificent, all at similar 5-star establishments, but the attention to detail displayed here is doubly impressive given the fact that Myanmar is still a developing country. The food quality is amazing. The service level is amazing. The staff and management are amazing. Myanmar is not known for its fine cuisine. Therefore, the... More

Stayed at Shangri la for a few nights stay... breakfast buffet is good with egg station so you can get freshly made eggs to your liking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to add your hotel rate when staying here. The dinner buffet however is terrible- western style food with zero taste and expensive by any standard but... More

Have stayed on several occasions at the Sule Shangri-La and always looked forward to the breakfast there. You can have anything from dim-sum to egg and bacon, the choice is fantastic; international with some local dishes. Even though most things are prepared to order you do not have to stand and wait, just order, hand over a stick with your table... More

Love this cafe,we ate there breakfast and dinner 3nights in a row. Yangon was our last stop of the 2weeks Myanmar trip,so we had enough eating local food and trying outside resto. Sule cafe have extensive menu all very tasty, our group love everything they had here. Good quality and tasty, not cheap but it's worth it.

A great hotel to stay in after the long flight from the U.K. Courteous staff and well appointed bedroom on 20 th floor which allows access to the lounge. Free drinks and nibbles and good breakfast both there and downstairs in Café Sule. Buffet dinner enormous and good value if you like seafood
