This is a high end French restaurant slightly of the beaten track in Yangon, which reminds me of the colonial times. Very stylish design befitting its elegant environment. My husband and I had lunch there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was worth it....More

It is quite a surprise to find this heaven of tranquility in the heart of Yangon. OK it is in a calmer neighborhood. Beautiful colonial setting. This place has been known for years and I still remember it from their first location. But the food...More

A unique setting on the bank of Inya lake, a chic yet not intimidating atmosphere, and a special mention for the geese and rabbits running around... Outstanding wine list and excellent food. Great place !

We visited, as a couple, on our last night, unfortunately our tour put us on a set menu, but there was classic french dining to be had. We could see foie gras starters, delicious desserts, etc, with couples on special nights, or business groups sparing...More

So this is a high end French restaurant slightly of the beaten track in Yangon. And a stunning one at that. It is pricey but save up. It does two menus and you should have the more expensive one. The regular bistro menu is ok,...More

Description
WE HAVE MOVED TO 80 UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Le Planteur opens a new restaurant on Inya Lake, at 80 University Road. Le Planteur (Inya Lake) upgraded even more to the next standard of finesse in quality, standard and ambience!! And so, Le Planteur (Inya Lake) remains faithful to its concept, in a stunningly attractive venue!! It is an exciting and wonderful evolution and change for Le Planteur - but the things you and I love about Le Planteur have not changed. A new Chef arrived at Le Planteur! The team is proud to welcome Chef Gil Dumoulin who will be in charge of the fine dining restaurant.
