Another great Korean restaurant in Insadong catering for traditional Korean food. I like the atmosphere the local dishes and the overall local feeling. Good place to eat in Insadong.

We chanced upon this place and were attracted by the huge dumpings being cooked in the window. A great find! Madnuguk (dumpling soup) for KRW7000 with lots of extras filled us up nicely and it was great food. Low key/old-fashioned interior, not much english spoken but there was an english menu and we got by just fine. Got chatting to... More

Came here for their semi-famous "mandugok" giant meat dumpling soup. We shared a bowl for 7,000 Korean Won and it included several banchan (side dishes). Service was good. Many other items available on the menu. Find it by going down Insa-dong 8 gil (alley). You won't be sorry!

Read if you are vegetarian or don't eat all meat. I came here with my husband after seeing the reviews. Since most places I had been to had lot of seafood options I wasn't too worried and didn't do enough research. I don't eat beef, and not keen on weird seafood like octopus though so this place wouldn't be the... More

Very good mandu and roasted beef soup, generous and tasty! Felt welcome even though we arrived late :-)

It was really hard to find! Only had signs in korean signs, in the end we checked the phone no. to compare with that in lonely planet. The service was good, the waitress helped us choose the dishes. She must be used to confused tourists coming in. Try the seafood pancake, its really big. We also tried the bibimbap amd... More

This is restaurant which was frequented mostly by the locals & I was glad that my local tour specialist brought us here as they are famous for their extra large mandu, naengmyeon (cold noodles) & haesaemul pajeon (seafood pancake). We ordered their bulgogi as well, I particularly love their cold noodles & the pajeon(they used extra egg batter which makes... More

Nice lunch but disappointed becausee had higher expectations. We had dumpling soup, bulgogi, and seafood pancake. Soup was good, not great - had better (more flavor) at other restaurants during the trip. Bulgogi was good, favorite dish. Pancake was a let down - plenty of seafood but was bland and otherwise not special.
