We had a terribly bad service, not suggest to come here at all. One the guy is very rude, I think this restaurant will not last long because they treat foreigners badly. I will not come here anymore.

The Worst taste, worst foods size, worst service. This restaurant is a shame of korean restaurant. I came here with my international friend. And server said the un respectful sentence to customer. Because they r foreigners and they cant understand korean. About the foods, looks...like cheap but its not. If u order kongbul, u will get bunch of bean sprouts with tiny if pork. So i really dont recommend it. And foods taste was the worst food in my life. I am korean, so I know the tastes. No word to say. They just have great location and serve worst foods to tourists. Please dont wast your money, time and appetite. I dont want any victims because of this restaurant . And my international friend also dosent like it. Not about spicy, just bad foods.More
I visited Kongbul in Hongdae for dinner. It is a speciality restaurant selling bean sprout bulgogi, most of the menus come with bean sprouts! Actually I do not enjoy eating bean sprout but my friend recommend this restaurant to me, so I decided to give...it a try. It was during dinner time, and there was quite a lot customers that day. The main menu is kongbul, and you may choose the types such as cheese/ sweet/ seafood kongbul. They serve budae-jjigae (army stew) as well. We ordered the original one for two person. I think the price is reasonable because it is only 7000won for one serving. When we ordered, the waitress advised us that the dishes are quite spicy. I can't eat too spicy, so they will make it less spicy for us. Remember to tell them if you can't eat spicy as well. I was quite surprised because the dishes is really fulllll of bean sprout, but it was acceptable to me. The bean sprout was refreshing when it serve with the meat. However, I expected a little spicy but they make it zero spicy for us. I think maybe a little spicy will be much more better for a ordinary korean food haha. Lastly, as usual, add on a fried rice to max up your satiety!More
