I am not vegetarian but Sanchon was a fantastic experience in a fabulous decorated old house or temple style. They are using all kind of vegetables from mountains and seaside of Korea, if was absolutely delicious and a great culinary experience. Thank you.

I came all by myself, which seemed to be strange to the staff. Before I could enter, she told me that I would have to pay 45.000 Won (!) to get the menu and that there is no other choice. She seemed pretty unfriendly, so...More

This is a vegetarian restaurant located in a back alley around some corners. Inside it is like a temple, and in the center there is a space where in the evening they stage traditional dancing performances. There is no menu, which does not matter much....More

I like meat and prefer meat in most meals. So my review may be a little biased. Four of us went to Sanchon on a Saturday afternoon. We booked the table but the restaurant was quite empty. We should not judge the food based on...More

Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small
neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects
of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional
Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts,
fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir
shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in
particular has become a local institution for its
unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops
