Small place with a fresh modern decor. Super friendly service. One communal table and generally busy but they have takeaway. The food is fresh, healthy, local and well priced. Delicious and super friendly.

The food was fresh, delicious, healthy and very reasonably priced. An excellent place to eat. But the service was a bit iffy- hard to get the waiters attention, more interested in stacking shelves. Not rude, but just could have caught my attention.

The Place decoration is different, so it was good for a try, the Prices are overrated and the Staff are not that friendly, Good for a test but wouldn't recommend it otherwise

If you like trying local cuisine, Zooba is an excellent choice. They offer Egyptian breakfast staples including "foul" which is basically fava beans and "Falafel" which is also made of ground fava beans and eggs. You can go for either plates or sandwiches. For lunch,...More

Good Egyptian street food, especially the kooshary, but since it's in Zamelek, has indoor seating and some upscale food offerings, you pay more than you would from street vendors (but it's still not an expensive place to eat). The seating is based on a communal...More

Good variety of Egyptian street food but fails to meet the mark unfortunately and is priced highly for what it is.

Zooba doesn't serve any alcoholic beverages so for a good plate of Koshary and perhaps a salad or a sandwich with some fresh juice and some dessert, you can go up to 80 or 90 including service and taxes. I would recommend... More

Here at Zooba, we turn familiar Egyptian street food on its head (and dress it up a little, too). We use only the freshest local produce to create simple, flavorful, gourmet dishes. We don't just use locally-sourced products in our food; we also reclaim local materials and found objects to create an eclectic dining space that pays homage to the creative resourcefulness and colorful spirit of the Egyptian people.
