Four of us ate here after visiting the Sphinx and the pyramids. I really liked the interior design, and found the bathrooms clean and pretty. they suppose have a nice meat cutlets, but most of the "certified cut" are not available, they cheated in minced meat quality.the server was very slow, refuse to write down the order and of course got it wrong, argued insisted on us paying for it, the manager was helpful and took it out on the bill. clean bathroom though:0)

You can watch the Sphinx while you dine and the food is not bad but the service leaves much to be desired. We actually had food on the table for over 10 minutes before drinks arrived. The servers seemed like they would rather be somewhere else.

Every time we go to Abu Shakra we come home with full bellies and absolutely satisfied. Their cuisine is just the way Egyptian food must be. Whether it's their various "grills" or their mezze - everything is simply delicious ... if you're a lover of authentic Egyptian food.

Enjoy high quality of Egyptian Kebab, in addition to several oriental dishes of Grilled Ducks and Pigeons.

Restaurant location is definitely perfect, panorama is good after visiting the Pyramids. But the taste and service, dont expect so much, all are in average. You may be hungry after long hours and they may offer the food in this restaurant. I dont suggest it because of the food quality. It is better to go city and try other best... More

Yes, it has a great view of the pyramids. However, when we went the waiter rudely informed us all the seats with a view were reserved. The waiters mostly chatted in the back, paying little attention to us. The food arrived a little too quickly yet was little more than room temperature, a worrisome prospect when it comes to meat.... The lunch at this restaurant was included as part of our tour. The breads with the 4 different dips of hummus were delicious and we were served a plate with grilled mixed meats with a rice pyramid (very cool) and some veggies. If we wanted drinks, it was extra. Overall it was very tasty and offered an excellent view of the... More
