Great restaurant in a scenic area of Aswan. Try the fatta - it’s yummy. I visited after a felucca trip to watch the sunset.

The food is very delicious, tasty and enough. The view of the restaurant is one of the best view ever that you can see everywhere. Staff are friendly and polite, prices are very good.

I had lunch in this restaurant with my friends, and the only thing I liked is the view, the rest was not really good, it was crowded and the food was not tasty, however the service was satisfactory, a lot of work is needed to...improve the quality of the food, and I don’t recommend this restaurant.More

The restaurant is very pretty, the view is excellent and the ferry ride to the restaurant is fun! And while all of these perks are great- it hardly makes up for the fact that the food is very expensive and yet very low on taste....I ordered chicken and rice and the food was very bland and the helping size very okayish. My mother ordered the spaghetti aglio and again the red taste was very tangy and yet bland. Would not recommend.More

I was advised to visit this restaurant on the island of Dokka. I was there by night and was not crowded. I order onion soup and mix grilled. Onion soup was a little bit salty for my and was well cooked. The main dish is...good served with rice which tasted normal than other restaurants in aswan.More

The food was very good. The service is really good. Sunset view is marvellous. To go by sail boat is recommended to enjoy the Nile. Fish tajin is great.

because the crossing is pure magic. The motor boat will meet you at the Old Cataract jetty if you ask the reception to call a few minutes in advance or you can catch the boat from the corniche (next to the public park). The restaurant...is very busy with Egyptian families and a few tourists. The waiters are very pleasant. The food is Nubian, safe, and fairly good but you are only there for the night crossing. Prices are rather high for an Egyptian restaurant (a little over LE 400 for 2). We were told there are some worries because a wealthy individual has bought the island and the Nubians have been protesting about it--this is only hearsay and there is no guarantee it is even true. Will El Dokka remain there I don't know.More
