Located next to the main ferry station to the Island. This restaurant has great views of the East Bank and wonderful of you are looking for the sun in the first part of the day. Ali the manager is fab.

Immediately on your right, once you exit the ferry to the island, in Aswan, is a very cool chill place for: food, drinks, coffee, & a shesha, right on the Nile. Nubian Dream cafe is also within walking distance of the Khanum temple & Aswan...Museum. It is a locals hang out, especially in the evening where the air is cool and the views of the Nile are Sooooo relaxing. I have grounded myself there every evening after moving around town dealing with hawkers. Just like the island surroundings and inhabitants, Nubian Dream Cafe is a breath of fresh air. The owner is a fun guy named Mustafa. Atmosphere is slow & soothing, great for families and small kids. Must try their TAGINE!!!!! YUM! BrianMore

We had the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant. We were 12 people so called ahead and placed our order. When we arrived, we were immediately seated and out came the food, ready to eat! It was great. We really enjoyed the camel tagine. It was...tender and super flavorful. The whole place had a bit of a Jamaican vibe. Service was good and the waiters very friendly. Highly recommend while you're in Aswan.More

Went there as per the reviews, but we were very disappointed- out of 20 items or so on the menu, only 3 or 4 were available- we had the chicken tagine which was bland and didn’t even look good. Home made French fries were very...oily and the tomato soup was just like the sauce used in the Egyptian cooking, overall very bad experienceMore

After reviewing places to eat in Aswan, my wife wanted to go to Nubian Dreams Restaurant because it looked like a place where locals would go. We were staying at the Movenpick and asked for directions which were given but turned out to be crappy...because we found later that had we walked along the path from the hotel to the restaurant opposite the city, we would have found it quicker. Anyhow, we got to the restaurant and found Ali who welcomed us and made us feel at home. While talking to him, we found out that he had lived in Newcastle Australia and we had a great talk . We ordered drinks while we scanned the menu; we ordered a lamb tagine and a vegetarian tagine. Bread, salads and pomfret fries completed the order. The food was good and filling and there was plenty of it. In fact, we did not eat again that day. After lunch, I had a sheesha to round off the day. Ali Jamaica provides a lovely atmosphere full of good old fashioned hospitality. All of the locals we ran into who live in the two little villages between the Movenpick and Aswan Museum are friendly and courteous.More

This out of the way restaurant is a must if visiting Aswan. It is hard to locate but food is well with the hassle. Stayed at Movenpick on the same island and realized it would have been easier to cross the Nile walk the riverfront...(Up River) and then recross directly yo restaurant. My wife and I each ordered a dinner (Could have split) and was served a lot of food. Food quality was the best of the week and was very tasty. Would definitely return at a later date.More

It's all smiles here. The food is cooked in /on the Nubian grill / oven. Everything is homemande, and everything is good. We had the grilled beef and chicken and vegetables... Great. Shame they ran out of camel😬 They even have a friendly boat driver...who'll take you back accross the Nile!More

Beautiful but it was nothing to eat and really very expensive. We asked 2 breakfasts for 75LE each and I (small woman) was still hungry. For this price you can have a good dinner in a good restaurant in Aswan.
