Highly recommended for friendly and good value service. The food is really good, lots to choose from and fresh and tasty. Don't miss this place! It's located opposite the Sonesta St George, upstairs. That's the only catch, it's on the second floor, so not wheelchair friendly.

I'd personally avoid a "british" style establishment when abroad, however it was opposite our hotel and we had 2 hours to kill before leaving for the airport. Thanks to all the trip advisor reviewers we went in! Its a great establishment. Friendly staff, the food is really really good and there is memorabilia everywhere. The menu offers Egyptian and western... More

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice atmosphere, and it's good value for money. There's a pool table too, which is a bonus.

After a long day combing through temples and museums, we headed to the King's Head for a drink. We were there early enough so the kids could join and had a great time playing pool. We were also surprised to find that they have quite a vast menu of all sorts from basic bar snacks to full main dishes. Everything... More

High spirits in this bar with eclectic decor. Che Guevara shares the walls with football banners, and movie stars from the olden days. The patrons are a nice mix of locals and tourists:)

A little hard to find at street level, as you have to walk through a stop and up the stairs - the entrance is on the main street, and the shop owner is usually hanging out and will ask if you are looking for the pub. We went for a few beers (which are way cheaper here than at your... More

We've been here many times before. Stella and wine cheaper than hotels and food good. Friendly atmosphere though sad to see so few tourists.

Friendly staff, and nice authentic feel about this bar. Shame as I arrived too early, so only customer. Burger arrived within minutes, so not sure what 'freshly prepared' actually means here. Wasn't served in the 'toasted bun' as the menu states, neither with mayonnaise, but I think other reviews might have been written after a few pints. Would come again... More
