Tappanyaki into the night! Freshest and finest of Japanese and Asian dishes. Sushi and spring rolls and are amazing and melt in the mouth!

Furusato could easily have the best sushi in Nairobi. With decent prices, it offers a great indoor and outdoor dining experience, friendly staff, and best of all the quality of the fish and rice is completely amazing. Definitely a place to go on a dinner date. Extremely romantic ambiance.

This is an excellent Japanese restaurant. Ideally located in westlands, it is very spacious with both outdoor and indoor seating. It also has several tepanyaki tables. Very kid friendly. The food is fresh me excellent. There is a live sushi bar. The box sets are good value. Vegetarian food is excellent. Service is always good. It is a little pricey.... More

I enjoyed the outdoor seating and the convenience of not having to go too far for Japanese or Korean food. However, it's just average. Much prefer Goong or Sushi Soo than this.

I am no expert in Japanese food. At all. Therefore my review is strictly limited to my perception of it, and is based on comparative study of a growing number of Japanese outlets in this town. Another remark: I am no big fun of sushi, and very seldom order those, therefore I cannot judge their quality here. We have been... More

We sat outside and enjoyed the gardens of the restaurant , chicken wings were disappointing but everything else was really good . My recommendation is stuck to the Japanese dishes , really fresh and full of taste , really good value too which is always a bonus !

I have been to this restaurant for the past 7 years when I'm Nairobi. Maina the chef is consistent, brilliant, great customer service always. Food is fresh and Chef Maina is amazing at the tepanyaki table. Ask for him, you won't be disappointed. Drinks list could be more varied.

Ambience is just great indoor and outdoor. Staff was friendly. They have tried to incorporate flavours of the customer's house country if requested. After chef's choice sushi (which us completely worth it) I have Chicken Teriyaki which was great. Flavours were just right. Must try out if in Nairobi.

Great experience! Food was very good and staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside was getting to the restaurant as they are building a new road just outside it.
