First impressions might be great, and that is certainly the case with good ol' Pasara Cafe in Nairobi Town with all the wonderful old movie posters and pics hanging on the walls, but there us a sense of dust in the air inside, which does affect the whole picture a bit which is regrettable for sure. I love this place. I always make a point of coming every time I am in Nairobi. The toasted sandwiches are huge and come with a mountain of fries, and are very tasty. An absolute must however, is the masala chai - it is divine! We are always given a friendly welcome, and the manager is clearly very proud of... More

Pasara is one of those Old restaurants with a good vibe. It is somewhat vintage in the layout and the large movie posters on the wall just complete the vintage look. They are very reasonably prices and it's one of those places you can sit for hours and read a book and especially if you get a booth. The menu... More

Whenever I'm in Nairobi, I always make a point of coming here. I really like the feel of the café, which looks like it belongs to a bygone era with old posters of films on the walls and a spiral staircase. I really like being able to sit in the booths and take a break from the hustle and bustle... More

This is one of the few places in Nairobi that have good coffee and where coffee tastes like coffee. I've been to several cafes and I have settled for Pasara any time I'm in Nairobi. The staff can be a bit slow and draggy, but I always go back for the coffee. It's a good place for a social meetup... More
