Good sports bar to watch your live action, decent food during weekends and early evenings but quite expensive for what it is and you'll have to wait a long time for your meal (maybe well over an hour) if there's a sports event on. . As soon as the football finishes it turns into a disco - almost no other... More

typical bar, medium loud music. However with attractive scenery, there to enjoy. Talking possible. The waiters are very, very pushy in getting you more drinks; that is disturbing and takes away all the fun

Since 1994 the essence of Nairobi expat life and still going strong. Be it for a football match with a Tusker, decent bar food or for partying a weekend night away with friends: a must for every visit to Nairobi!

I've been there a few times but never ate anything, just relaxed with a few beers listening to the music. Good mix between locals and expats, it gets a bit too crowded over the weekend. A few working girls around but they do not disturb you if you don't show interest.

I have been visiting this bar several times since more than 15 years and it just keeps on getting better. Great place to be at night. Lots of fun guaranteed.

Must say ppl living @ and around Raphta Road have a good option like Gipsy Bar even though they have Vineyard on the same street. Any way coming to the point. Drinks for 5 that's only round 1 costed 4500KES. But reason behind this would be because there is no entry fee. Age limit was 25 when I entered. Ambience... More

Visited Gipsys on a saturday afternoon, only one customer in, ordered a Tbone steak, as special around 1700 shillings. it was tasty and staff were very friendly. But the cut of beef was more fat and bone than meat, my only complaint.

I didn't like it very much, can't even explain why. If you want to party, dance a bit, have a drink and fun, don't want to miss sports in TV, are interested in connecting with others, enjoying good music and meeting/flirting with women - this is the right place to go. The service is not really calculable, the food okay.

This is the club to go to when you don't want to end the night at 2pm. Free entry, reasonable prized drinks but not always the best music.
