Rustic building (a former home) and helpful staff make this experience worthwhile. A large variety of entrees and sides available. If it's cold, dress warm; and if still chilled ask the staff to bring a small fire stove to your table.
The food is amazing especially for those who want experience Ethiopian Cuisine for the first time and for those coffee lovers out there, this restaurant offers aromatic flavour rich Ethiopian coffee.
The food here is delicious and the serving is massive. We ordered the lamb and chicken Alicha - it was delicious and plentiful. We arrived around 9pm on a wet raining night. The tables where all full and areas of the roof was leaking, so...More

This was one of my first experiences with Ethiopian food and it was incredible. We had the veggie platter and a side order of Shiro (tomato/chickpea curry).
Thank you for your feedback Sarah. See you again, soon! :)
The food here is superbly delicious...what jewelers would call 'hand crafted' cuisine. Though the Decor and ambiance is a little lacking in taste, you easily forget once the platter is in front of you. Staff are also very helpful.
Thank you for your review Jackson. We hope you can visit us again soon, as we have given the restaurant a facelift that will match the great food. See you soon! Miki/Abyssinia
You can eat shiro and injera every day of the week and still crave it in-between meals. What Abyssinia lacks in decor, it makes up for in it’s food. The vegetarian platter is a good place to start if you’re a novice to this cuisine....More
