In a pretty happening area. A lot of people on the street, sitting, drinking boiled water in order to get into some other trendy joint. We were whisked in right away on the red carpet (nice touch). If you have the money, get the whole...More

This restaurant is very big, it is located on the famous Ghost street. You reach the restaurant through a very long corridor, once inside you discover how big it is. The staff speak English and there is a menu in English with photos. The choice...More

Having been in Beijing for four days we were keen not to go home without trying Peking Duck. This restaurant was recommended by the driver who took us to the wall and was reasonably close to where we were staying. The restaurant is a complex...More

This place is huuge! Dont get seated in scatchy rubbish room as we did, try to get outside on terrace or somewhere in tiny cozy rooms. Walk around! Totally worth to visit. Food was okay and staff very friendly.

Amazing service with very helpful English and French speak speaking staff. Aubergines, leek pancakes and fried prawns were great. Worth waiting for a table in the courtyard if there is a bit of wait.

My guide brought me here. Very glad she did as would not have found on my own. Something of a local institution apparently. Huge high roofed courtyard with attentive staff. I had duck and chicken dishes which came with a plethora of side dishes, too...More

The food was really really testy. Freshly arriving to China, our plan was to go slow with the spice and to avoid "risky" food... but then the menu arrived and we couldn't stop ordering dishies after dishies. That was just amazing and a good value...More

This review is for the Huajia Yiyuan location at 55 Beixinqiao Toutiao, which, I understand, is one of several Hua locations. My wife and I were members of a group (Viking Cruises) who dined together, so perhaps we were perceived as a "tourist group" and...More

We visited this restaurant at night. Sadly there was no place on the ground floor for the shows. We had dinner on the second floor. The setting was nice in a typical chinese setting with lantarns and a front as you see in the forbidden...More

I was here for a work dinner and think I was probably the only vegetarian present. However I found enough veggie options to have a tasty meal, in interesting surroundings. Clearly the duck was a major option for the meat eaters. As well as the...More

Hi, 17th/Feb should be open. I am not quite sure if 16th is open, however you may give them a call before you go. There is a 70% chance of opening on that day. Cheers!
