LGB (Le Gouter Bernardaud) is a café offering traditional French desserts prepared in in an authentic French style. The café in IFC is very popular with many locals and tourists alike taking a break to share something sweet, a coffee and a chat. All the desserts look decadent and delicious and the ones we tried lived up to the way... More

Breadfast set isvery huge here. I ordered aegg Benedict and it's double size than most of the price in Hk . The problem of the egg benedict is they add the cooked bell pepper inside. I think it should be cut very thin and raw ( uncook) both of I and my friend removed all of the bell pepper before... More

The food generally is very good and you have to book for a table at lunch. This time though, lunch was mediocre: if you love to bathe in olive oil, all good, I don't and the tagliatelle were swimming in it! Their pastries are wonderful as are the macaroons.Great hot chocolate! Ask for whipped cream to top it off, you... More

This is a nice pit after venturing many shops at the IFC mall. They have lovely desserts and nice coffee and various kinds of tea.

Good rest stop after walking around IFC shopping mall for hours. Decided to settle for this cafe for the many varieties of loose tea leaves on the menu. Coffee were good too. The fresh raspberries sandwiched between macarons in white chocolate cream was surprisingly good. It was pretty too.

I have to admit the soup was excellent, this my great confusion when I received the foie gras burger 20 minutes later. The fries are good , the burger is not as good as it could be and should be The dish was cold , the foie basically absent and the overall taste was just acceptable. I am certain the... More

I've tried to like this restaurant because of its handy location. Today's dinner service is the last straw however. I ordered the carrot soup and ribeye steak done rare from the set lunch menu. The carrot soup was a little under seasoned for my taste which is not so much of a big deal except there is no seasoning to... More

I love this cafe...any of the branches...both for a quick, good lunch or dinner, or simply a cuppa! The green tea "temple d'Angkor" is my favourite, accompanied by one of their scrumptious lemon tarts...mmmm...any day!

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
