Sevva is the best place to just unwind during a chaotic day in the city. It has a fantastic view and the ambiance is at par. It is always full so make sure to get a reservation number before you're set to go. The food is visually aesthetic and it tastes really good too. Definitely one of the places I... More

Sevva is an upmarket bar with an outdoor seating area. I have lived in HK for close to 10 years but have only visited about half a dozen times only. The view is fantastic on a clear day/night. The outdoor seating area is spacious. You can also stand if you want to (at the bar tables). However, all this luxury... More

Nice rooftop lounge and restaurant with open deck and terrific views of Hong Kong. A lively and happening place in the evenings.

I have been to Sevva on numerous occasions since it opened about 10 years ago. Still the best all round dining experience in Hong Kong. Excellent service with food to match. Every plate is delicious. Good vibe for a weekend night although been there during the week too and it's also good. In summer there is a terrific outdoor lounge... More

We had lunch during the weekday. We sat on the couch instead of a proper table. I had the Taiwan Beef Noodle and was very tasty especially the soup. My husband had a traditional pork chop and fried rice with tomato sauce. The rice was so tasty and has very traditional flavour which when I was a kid. If the... More

Came here for the view and was not disappointed. We stood though for the better part of 3 hours but it was ok. Great vibe, great crowd. Cocktails are innovative and refreshing. Be ready to spend HK$175 for a drink though.

One of the best meals I've had has been at this restaurant - fantastic food and fantastic service. Everything from the bread-crisps they serve to you to the dessert was memorable. The service is super classy and it felt celebratory. Expensive but worth it.

My brother and sister in law brought us here for drinks during our stay. Fabulous views over HK. Got lots of photos. Pleasant staff. I think it's expensive but we were being spoilt by them so I didn't see the bill.

I have been to this place for business meetings a few times. I have a nice terrace and an amazing view on Victoria Harbour! It is a perfect location if you would like to impress someone. Service is good but I have never really eaten there though.

This place is the ultimate in rip offs. Everything is hiked to maximise their returns - don"t bother. Sorry but this is my first ever negative review.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
