Needs a re furb as currently a very lackluster and dull looking place. The staff are a bit sleepy and constantly have to ask for their attention. Food looks pretty average ,however their breaded chicken tastes really good.

I've lived in Hong Kong for 11 years now and used to come to this place in the early days of being here. This place was good back then but now... it's leveraging its location and the staff are tired, disinterested and frankly rude... the guy with the goatee is the worst. Food wise this place has always been a... More

This is a great spot to jump off the escalator for a drink. If you enjoy people watching you will not get a better spot. Service was great from the staff and prices fair enough for Hong Kong.

The place is right by the escalator, so good for people watching. but there is no car traffic, which is a plus. we went there for lunch and ordered nasi goreng and soup. Instead of sweetcorn and crab meat soup, she brought mushroom soup, which tasted okay, although it was a bit cold and could well come from a can.... More

We dropped in here for a drink and decided to eat. We ordered a large pizza and a salad to accompany it. The pizza arrived and was very good but we had eaten half of it before the salad arrived which was also good. No apology for late arrival and although it was happy hour with one drink free for... Very enjoyable evening for cocktails. Plenty of drinks and food to choose from. Staff were very friendly. Got very busy as the evening what on and expensive. A fun place to stop for a few drinks. Music was a little loud.

We used to come here over 10 years ago and it was great. The past few years it's gotten more touristy more expensive and tasteless. The food comes cold and at the quality of bad street food. Such a shame. I guess it's ok for a drink though.

I went past Peak Cafe a couple of times and was keen to give it a try with friends. The location is terrific and make it a good place to do some people watching over a drink or snack. Would definitely return.

We just stopped here for a drink while coming down from the mid levels. Good drink, nice decoration, OK prices.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
