Invited a few friends for dinner. Hotel ads champion a n all U can eat Oysters buffet! What they did not say, was that there was NO selection, just one variety of rock oysters in the 1/2 shell.( I had expected a variety of oysters from wherever. cf other Seafood buffets in some HK hotels!) Sushi, salmon sashimi, roast sirloin(aust)... More

We booked a table for 4 persons. Welcome and seating, is professional handled. Even all the tables are occupied, with the number of people going to the buffet, food was not plentiful and the staff repleshing the trays to slow and too little, which result with too many empty food trays. Offer is average and not really palatable as expected.... More

Went for a dinner buffet last Saturday (4.2.2017) for family's gather (birthday), and found the seafood was supposedly cool but all warm, no ice to keep them cold. Whilst the hot food were all cold already, despite the taste was kind of awful with poor temperature control. Food Temperature is definitely a key factor to keep hygiene!! My family is... More

I found the food to not be hot at all. It was barely warm. The whole time we were here it was seafood themed. There was not a lot of variety if you don't eat seafood. My husband who doesn't eat seafood wasn't too keen. All the staff were friendly.

The buffet serves a variety of food, however, the sushi was not very fresh. The drinks (2 juices) were lacking. For the price paid, I found the food subpar by Hong Kong standards.

Try and get your room rate to include the Buffet Breakfast each day otherwise it may be expensive. Lots of choice and good quality.

The iSquare has many shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as a cinema. On level 30 is the Eyebar. If you're wanting to have a drink (and don't mind paying around $20AUD) with a view then this is the place to head to. Magnificent views overlooking Victoria Harbour over to Hong Kong Island are seen from the outside bar.

The Square is on the 2nd floor of Novotel Nathan Road. It features a large dining room with an up-scale feel. We ordered off of the menu but the restaurant features an enormous buffet with all kinds of seafood that seems to be popular with locals as much as hotel guests. Everything we ordered was well prepared and tasty but... More

Had 3 days breakfast here. They served Congee and Miso soup, fruits and vegetable salad, dimsum and noodle, american omelet and egg, bacon and sausage, smoke salmon and cheese, cereals and juice. Basically, food did nor change for the 3 time i had breakfast, the view show one window facing a nice hotel restaurant, and another an old building. Although... More

Tried the buffet breakfast during my stay. Food is good but spread is of average & nothing to shout about. Eggs station is cluttered together with the buffet line and people waiting for their eggs are crowding and causing obstruction to the line. Re-positioning of the egg stations could be looked into.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
