HK exhibits one of most exquisite cuisine of the world. It is the right place to reinvigorate your much spoiled taste buds from a high class life. The often deep cooked and fried food genre, however, is not for everyone. Higher meat portion also cultivate a craving for veggie sometimes. Congee here, specifically "Congee of three selection", delivers a perfect... More

If you are in the mall this is a good option, the food is reasonably priced and more than decent, they also have huge servings and good tea. The congee is really good so if you don't know what to order go for it.

I also come here for lunch as it is near my office. Come earlier to avoid the crowd. Service is fast and mechanical. Food is average. Prefer the congee.

This is a nice restaurant in a very modern, upscale mall. But the place serves casual, well-priced noodle soup specialities, as well as other dishes. As always, fast, efficient and well-served.

Despite coming to HK for numerous occasions, this is the first time i am eating this. They open at 11am, but there was already a queue around 1045. Tried the wanton noodles, their signature dish, as well as the century egg plus pig liver congee. The noodles are crunchy and tasty. The wanton is very solid and feeling. As for... More

I always make it a point to have a meal here, even if I'm dining alone. The wanton noodles are flavorful, and although their dim sum choices are limited, the items are all fresh and delicious. Go early as the lines can be very long. Most of the time, this is my last meal before leaving Hong Kong, after checking... More

Where there's a line, there's bound to be good food (or a popular ride at an amusement park). While waiting for our movie to start at IFC mall, chanced upon Tasty Congee at the 3rd level of the mall atop the HK station city check-in counter. Was lucky to get seated 10 minutes in line and quickly ordered my new... More

We have eaten here many times, and the food and service are always good. On several occasions we have remarked on how helpful and friendly the service is. The menu gives a solid choice and quality is 100% consistent.

Brought three friends here for lunch and everyone is impressed My friend even said it is the best congee in Hong Kong. We also tried BBQ bun and custard bun; they are also very good. The noodle wonton and soup is excellent. Will try again at its branch at airport

Thank Verawat B

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
