Excellent! Large portions of fish, fresh and tasty! The sushi and sashimi were great. I highly recommend if staying in Wan Chai area.

Nothing fancy in there, only sushi style food. Pictures on the wall to show you what you can order. Staff looks a bit rude a first but were in fact very nice. I had few different kind of sushis, all were excellent and fresh! I will for sure go back.

The restaurant is has nice clean modern decor. There is a sushi bar in traditional fashion in the center of the area. Brown tea is served as you are seated. The menu ranges from Yakitori to Sashimi. There are a few Western sushi such as California rolls but and Mango Salmon but most are traditional sushi selections. Having lived in... More

YuYu Sushi is a solid sushi restaurant in Ship Street, Wan Chai with fresh sushi and a good choice of Japanese dishes. The Japanese chef prepares wonderful maki, sashimi, hand-rolled sushi and california rolls. Try the foie gras sushi, they are delicious! The decor is nice and modern and the service is friendly and attentive. Lunch deals are attractive.

We were at the hotel in Johnston Road and we were searching for a nice restaurant. The service was very quick, the sushis and sashimis are made directly under your eyes and are very good and quite cheap (we're European so we're used to see japanese food as a luxury food ;-)). The ambiance is very quiet and nice, the... More

Unlike the other sushi chains, the sushi there is always fresh and the queue is never too long. The service is good, very attentive. Very good value for money.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
