It's a lovely french bistro, a bit tiny but very cosy and has a relaxing environment. We tried the poulet cordon bleu and the boeuf bourguignon and both are superb. Service is perfect throughout the evening. We have been well taken care of. Fresh bread was refilled many times to fill our stomachs between dishes.

Lunched with three friends as super typhoon Haima swept towards Hong Kong. There is a lunch menu but we all chose a la carte washed down with a nice Sancerre and followed by several bottles of a delightful red. Menu is small but sufficient to give enough choice. We shared some starters and each of us enjoyed a decent main... More

Went for a mid-week drink (for the first time) and just had rosé wine - excellent - and hors d'oeuvres - also excellent, the mini-steak tartare was delicious. Nice, friendly place and good service (helped that I was there with a regular). Definitely noisy but if you want to be on Wyndham St of an evening...

One would like to think that a restaurant trying to be a French bistro would at least try to maintain some pretense to gracious dining. Why does every bally spot in LKF feature that SAME thumpy thumpy bloody techno-crap music?? Happy hour in LKF brings out the worst - so we have all the folks what work in the neighborhood... More

After 1 week in China - this is just what I needed! Excellent entrecote, worth a visit any time. Friendly service and just the right French touch.

Not a bad place to pop into for a lunch, quality and service average but has a French charm. Small boxy restaurant with a reasonable menu, for what it is slightly over priced. At night time becomes a blokey bar , which gets crowded at weekends with our French brethren !!! Like most of HK. Worth a visit but not... More

Has been very difficult to convince my friends that we should eat here, Arrived just after happy hour that intoxicated customers. This is a weekday, one wonders how a Friday night looks. The music is good and the atmosphere loud on the high side, so we decide to have a drink and look somewhere else for dinner .Not quite easy... More

Quite a quaint institute, decor is dainty. Notwithstanding the coffee is unappealing and the staff are discourteous. One to bypass.

Had a series of business drinks there, always good service although the place is narrow and packed often and quickly. Cold cuts and cheese boards and great wine is the only thing I had and it was good.

End up a Sunday nigh, food was alright even if the menu is quiet small. A bit disappointed when the staff or management makes more noise than the customers with loud music on. Felt more than in a club than a bistro. Not my cup of tea, neither bistro spirit.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
