Just came back from a very pleasant evening at Duecento Otto where we had excellent cocktails followed by a delicious meal. Their burrata was one of the best we've ever had and the octopus carpaccio was to die for. The white truffle pizza was good but not as special as the two other starters. Followed by a surprise gift from... More

Nice place for a glass of wine and some pizza - it has a fresh and somewhat sophisticated atmosphere.

Decided to check this place out after a networking event as central was a bit too much effort. The place is cozy but spacious with a fairly relaxed vibe...good ambiance and no loud music. The menu is a mix of standard Italian with pizzas and pastas as well as tapas style small plates and cheese and cures me at platters.... More

First the pro : very good pizza even by Neapolitan standards. Generous serving of burrata as a salad dish, okay bruschetta though crackers and soggy toast not quite the business. Didnt try pastas. Good wine list, including the white Livia Felluga at about 300$, overpriced but a nice wine - all in all, a good performance for an Asian pizza... More

Great location... VERY good pizzas, nice atmosphere... the full package for the happy few, with price tags a notch high for the food, but you will remember the place... Simple choice, just be careful it is often packed!

Ok so Italian food in HK. This place is cool with a great bar downstairs but the food is average. Big deal saying all pasta homemade but never tasted like it. Pizza was ok but slightly overbooked and salty. The wine was expensive at 5000 HKD for a large bottle. Wow! Wasn't mind blowing either. Service was good and the... More

We were at 208 to have a relaxed and fun night. We ordered starters and drinks that were okay but nothing special. Since it is an Italien Restaurant with a large Pizza veriety, we decided to have pizza. Both were among the worst I have tried in a long time. Bad quality ingredients and very bad dough. Also very expensive... More

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation, and what a great choice it was! The flaming risotto was pure theatre as well as tasting wonderful. My Rib Eye was perfection on a plate. Great wine, great service and great ambience! For somewhere a little bit off the beaten track, this is a gem!

208 has always been one of my favourite hangouts in HK since it opened up. I go often for brunch or lunch, but as well for drinks and dinner as it is conveniently located and spacious. Last Sunday I went with a group of friends for casual drinks and dinner and we had the usual good pizzas and some pastas... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
