This is a seriously good Thai restaurant in Wanchai, close to Admiralty. It is a simple place, though the food is one of the best in HK! I love their basil fried rice and morning glory. Coming back soon

I visited this place with a local friend who lives in Hong Kong for a couple of years already. It's a small place and the ambiance is not very inviting, but the food is awesome. We ordered a couple of dishes which we enjoyed fully. I will definitely recommend the place to everyone who lives Thai food.

The place is worth seeing so go there even if not for a Valentine dinner. It is very cheap second floor of a admiralty building literally inside an appartment . The food, really, is not great :satay is fried not grilled and curries are ok nothing exceptional . Rice s good though if I have to say something more positive.... More

Venturing thru the hole in the wall restaurants have always been a great joy for me. Ehen I found about this restaurant, I couldn't wait to go snd try. This was 2 years ago and it is now one of my most favorite Thai restaurants in Hong Kong. Hard to find and kind of a private kitchen feel to it.... More

This place is not easy to find, but worth the trouble of finding it. The food is simply delicious. The pomelo salad is one of the best I have ever tasted. Sawali Club serves beer en will open your own bottle of wine without a corking fee. If you would like the delicious pumpkin ice cream, be sure to order... More

Quite hard to find, this wanchai second floor restaurant is offering a true experience into the thai food world, tasty, simple, generous portions and cheap prices. Not a fancy place, like eating in a private thai living room or kitchen, maybe not the best service ever (can you really find a good service in HK even if you pay a... More

The place looked very promising at a first glance - hidden entrance squeezed between 759 shop and some weird office building, simple tables and a cozy atmosphere. The stuff speaks Thai, however, they must have lived in hk for quite some time as their attitude is very similar to that in cha caan teng - no smile, just be quick,... More

I started patronising Sawali Club when it was just a small private kitchen, walking distance from my apartment. It was like going to someone's house to eat authentic Thai food. The papaya salad is awesome. My dinner staple when dieting. We even host dinners there when it was an undiscovered gem. Well, Sawali Club has grown-up, It has expanded to... More

Had dinner here tonight with friends. Circa HKD$200 per person including drinks. Great value, wonderful food and very spicy but only if you want it to be. Excellent homely style service and good fun, particularly if someone is having a birthday and they break out the kareoke. Sawali Club is a favourite regular of ours. Good value dining, nothing extravagant,... More
