如果同大家講,小弟為了一支爉燭而去了那間餐廳食飯,會覺得小弟荒謬嗎?可是小弟真的因為一支爉燭而去了位於荷里活道的Blue Butcher,皆因上次來食Brunch之前,原來不會供應,只在晚市供應,所以今次終於可一嚐所願。 這支爉燭有何特別之處?特別的地方是品嚐燒溶後的爉,以麵包蘸來吃,大家不要驚慌,我不是「阿飄」,只因這支Rubia Gallega Smoked Beef Fat Candle用上牛脂肪來做,經燃點後,溶下來的是牛油,以麵包點上,加點鹽及胡椒,令人感覺既美味又邪惡。 其實打開餐牌,發現大部份菜式都很邪惡,簡簡單單的Blue Mussels,都會用上多款配料去烹調,以香蔥油去煮小米、辣肉腸、煙肉及蜆,味道香濃惹味又鮮甜,剩下來的湯汁更是不能錯過,繼續拿著麵包來吃。 接著來點輕盈一點的Sustainable Tuna Tartare,配搭上不同的蕃薯片來吃,帶點點酸,十分清新,既有香脆的感覺,也有爽口的感覺。另一個非常邪惡的非Foie Gras Parfait莫屬,鴨肝、鴨油焦糖及燕麥混合後,軟滑中帶點點嚼感,再輕輕塗在多士上,那般肝香實在令人不能忍口,慾罷不能。 吃過一輪頭盤後,主菜也陸續送到,這兒既然稱得上屠房,當然不能放過任何肉類了,先來一份Bone-in Australian Wagyu Ribeye 32oz,份量十足,表面烤得微脆焦香,內裡呈半生熟的,肉汁豐富,肉味香濃,感覺好像已經熟成一樣,令人陶醉。 接著的是Roasted & Braised Australian Lamb,大家也知道我不吃,可是這個備受讚賞,我當然不介意他們點來吃,雖然小弟怕羶不吃,但卻對那個巨型的Ravioli存在幻想,內裡竟用上慢煮羊肩的肉來做,深得友人們的喜愛。 好彩大家也額外點來Roasted Canadian Pork Chop給我,其實熟識小弟的人都知道牛、豬及雞都是喜愛的肉類,特別是連骨的Prok Chop,肉質爽口軟腍,配合惹味的肉汁及蘋果醬,一點也不覺得油膩,好吃。 雖然主菜感覺沒有頭盤般邪惡,但配菜卻是一大挑戰,頭號敵人一定是Duck Confit Mac “N” Cheese,本身mac n cheese已是非常邪惡,每粒通心粉都纏繞著無數的半溶芝士及醬汁,十分香濃惹味,但那個慢煮蛋拌勻後,更多添一份蛋香,最離譜的是還加入鴨肉來煮,怪不得成為了當晚的焦點所在。 另外,Truffle Parmesan Fries是這兒的招牌,可是今次吃過Triple Cooked Fries後,令小弟轉移了視線,奉這個炸薯為心中最佳,香脆可口,內裡軟綿綿,形成了絕佳的口感,百吃不厭。 甜品真的不用多,皆因主菜已吃至爆肚,不過也要吃下這個Sourdough French Toast,質感煙煙韌韌,甜度不高,老實說現在真能不能吃得太甜了,值得推介。

Drinks I ordered did not arrive, instead waitress brought whatever she felt like then proceeded to charge a much higher price. I was told it was my fault for not clarifying. Poor service all around...would not go back.

Hi Youtzu , there is no dress code , casual dinning , suggest no shorts or flip flops though. Have a great meal.
