- this rates as my worst meal in Hong Kong in 22 years - one doesn't expect this from an expensive restaurant in Central, Hong Kong - a university reunion after 25 years brought a bunch of now middle age professional men to this restaurant....More

Had dinner there last week...could sense a palpable sadness in the staff....then we found out they will close soon for "renovations".....I said to the bar manager..."whats to renovate ? this place is fantastic"....received a polite shrug that indicated management preferred discretion on the topic.

Nice decor and high prices set expectations high. Disappointed by food though. Salad looked great but the number of cocktail onions and the very tart dressing made the large portion too sharp to finish. Bread was nothing special; a little dry. Wagyu beef main was...More

My wife and I were heading back to Kowloon after some dim sum and shopping in Central and as we approached the subway station we saw a sign high up on a building for Carnevino on the fifth floor. After a mind blowing experience at...More

Very good service and food. We ordered the beef, Australian Wagyu 11 oz., with excellent side dishes including the Thai asparagus, Tuscan wedges and mushrooms. This was all washed down by a good, but not fantastic, 2007 Montepulciano. BUT what AWFUL music, totally out of...More

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
