I actually have been a lot. I mean A LOT. And not once have I been let down. I wouldn't even say I'm a fan of Mexican food but this food is so light and full of amazing flavour. My must haves are the street corn, beetroot fries and fish tacos!! They don't take bookings so be prepared to wait... More

Hidden down a side street in LKF(past a small handbag stall), Brickhouse is a good place for a mexican appetizer and margarita.

We visited Brickhouse in the middle of a typhoon while we were visiting some friends and it was just lovely. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (my sister had her 4 month old baby with her so they found us a table where we could park the pram so he kept sleeping). The food and drinks are all a... Terrible service and the quality of food has gone down too. My girlfriend and I sat down at 9pm and ordered our drinks and food straight away as it was getting late for dinner. Our tacos didn't come until 10:20pm. Not only the food took a long time to arrive, the quality of the tacos was also disappointing. The taco... More

Brickhouse used to be one of my favourite restaurants in HK but the new menu is just so disappointing. We ordered the nachos to start which came topped with some kind of plastic "cheese" and were pretty much inedible. Same story with the tacos and the beef was so chewy that we couldn't eat it. We were still hungry but... More

It is hard to find and expensive for Hong Kong. I would rate the food as average for sure. The wait staff is very pleasant and attentive. It was fun with a group of people and like most of Hong Kong very clean....

I hadn't been to this place for 2 years until this recent visit and was really happy it still rocks. Mexican street corn is still irresistible; tacos were great and the ceviche was fresh and creative. Fun helpful staff and great drinks both with and without booze were fantastic. The place buzzes and you feel more like you are in... More

Well it's hard to find so I wouldn't bother. For those who travel abroad...this place offers the three sins of a restaurant if you enjoy your food: Poor service Small portions Very overpriced particularly for Mexican food! While the food quality was ok, you could a lot better at Chipotle! Best to avoid

Just ran across the Brickhouse pop up at the Havaianas pop up in Pacific Place. Nice to get Brickhouse food for cheaper, at lunch and in a super quiet non crowded setting. The tuna hunter ceviche and chicken tacos were super fresh and hit the spot on a hot day.

We are a late night restaurant and bar focused on food mainly from Mexico City. Not the type that you find in every city… the complete opposite in fact. We pride ourselves that our food features healthy options, small bite size items, loads of variety and it all comes together on an eclectic menu. But Brickhouse is more than just amazing food, just as important are the drinks, service and that we are in the dining room meeting and talking with you late in to the night…At Brickhouse we believe it’s the raw fundamentals that makes food exciting in the first place; great ingredients, sensible and simple preparation cooked by people who care. The best ingredients will always be in style. Brickhouse is transporting Mexico City’s diverse cuisine into dishes and drinks with explosive and addictive flavours to surprise your senses. Brickhouse is a simple feel good sanctuary to eat, drink and hang out all night long.Awards: - Best New Restaurant -- Sassy Awards 2013 (Brickhouse)- Best Restaurant for Dinner -- Sassy Awards 2013 (Brickhouse)- Foodie Forks Awards - Readers' Choice, Best New Restaurant (Brickhouse)- Best Restaurant -- Asia Tatler 2013 (Brickhouse)- Best New Restaurant -- Eat & Travel Guide 2013 (Brickhouse)- 4/5 stars -- HKMag July 2012 (Brickhouse)- Highly recommended by Chinese celebrity food critic, Susie Wong (Brickhouse)- 'Best post-party munchies in town...' --- Prestige August 2012 (Brickhouse)- Mexican Consul General's foodie faves -- Baccarat HK September 2012 (Brickhouse)- 'Tacos get elevated to gourmet heights at Brickhouse...' -- Where Magazine October 2012 (Brickhouse) - '...Brickhouse, by this very definition, is the epitome of cool." -- HKMag December 2012 (Brickhouse)

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
