The service is generally good and staff polite and friendly Food is above average for pub grub Have had burger, chicken and daily curry for lunch. The steak is very good. Has to be reasonable weather as really outside with cover. Issue is can be a lot of smokers. Only problem if you are non smoker

Small bar, all seating outdoors but under cover. Amazing beer selection, all of which they seem to have in stock. Friendly staff. Decent pizza. Went there on my own during a work trip - good vibe and easy place to eat and read. Recommended.

Always eat here while in Hong Kong. Great food and atmosphere. Pizzas are good too if you do not want a large meal. Fish & Chips are excellent.Great place to watch the world go by. Can get busy when people are going home from work. But you can always reserve a table.Great choice of ales from around the world

A good place to sit and relax. On my way from the ferry to the tram I stumbled across this place. A nice place in the shade to have a beer and chat with my friends. Good beer selection!

It's ok, but it really isn't anything special. The ribs were ok: not good, not bad. The Guinness wasn't poured right and obviously hadn't been allowed to settle before being finished which is almost criminal!

We stumbled across this restaurant on our way back the hotel. It was lovely place to relax and watch the world go bye. The food was good and the burgers we had were tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient.

I was wandering Wan Chai as I was fresh off the Star Ferry and I popped in for a happy hour drink. The beer list is pretty good with the majority being from the UK. I being somewhat amused to see Sam Adams was on draught, went for it. Of course happy hour prices in HK are kind of still... More

We stoped here to have a little lunch because it looked like a good place to eat. Not shure if we Just got the worst waiter or that every waiter at this place has such poor understanding of english. One of the order we asked the waiter to skip the bacon and used the word's 'no bacon on this please'.... More

Another member of the El Grande Restaurant and Bar group in Hong Kong. Hop House has similar menu to its sister pubs in HK like HK Brewhouse, East End Brewery and Slims. Good option in Wan Chai for drink and standard American bar food.
