Just a great informal atmosphere with excellent food and service. Not many places in HK where you can sit at the bar and order superbly presented first class food that you can see cooked next to you. Tapas style so depends on your appetite but...More

It's always tricky to know how much to order when dishes are served tapas style, so I would definitely recommend to order a few dishes at the time and not all in one go. Get a counter seat and sit right by the chefs. You'll...More

Have eaten here quite a few times and it was wonderful. We turned up early on a day with torrential downpour. We were told by staff with their backs to us "we open at 6:00". When we asked if we could just wait until they...More

A small place within a great vibe and great food. Service was good without being obtrusive. Everything was good but especially the suckling pig and the chorizo. I will certainly return. Highly recommended.

We had a few plates since they are small, you should have more than one. The pork one was pretty big for tapas. The place is a little small but it is fine in the end, the food and the environment make it worth it.

The menu is pleasingly small and the food tasty, but the fusion twist won't appeal to all. The place is however tiny. We were stuffed against the bar and squeezed from behind by passing waiters until they found us a table. The biggest negative is...More

Yes it's a little cramped (atmospheric) and yes it is a little on the expensive side (this is European food in Hong Kong) but the food is amazing. Fresh, unusual ingredients prepared with love and cooked to perfection. What is also obvious is that the...More

Excellent food, nice atmosphere, hipster chic....a tad overpriced for some fairly simple ( all be it very tasty ) dishes and in some of the seating areas you are a little stuffed In with other diners but that kind of adds to the experience in...More

Tasty tapas like dishes however if you are really starving it might not be the place to go. The food is quite tasty and drinks are nice but overpriced for somehow basic type of ingredients. I would rate 3.5/5 but since we cannot rate to...More

dishes are for sharing but not large like your stereo typical American restaurants... it is a tight and small place... go Ersoy and get a table, prefer that over the bar

Description
The no reservation tapas bar 22 Ships has become one of Hong Kong hottest tables since opening in October 2012 - offering an eclectic menu of modern tapas, served in a buzzy yet relaxed setting, and a dynamic list of sherries, wines, spirits and Spanish beers. Using the best of both European and Asian ingredients, Michelin-star Chef Jason Atherton and 22 Ships’ Executive Chef Lee Westcott bring a modern touch to traditional classics. Westcott, who has strong a Michelin background and has worked with acclaimed chefs such as René Redzepi at Noma, was Head Chef at Tom Aikens Restaurant in London before taking up his role of leading the kitchen at 22 Ships
