My team and I had dinner at 22 Ships tonight. We came without reservation, so we were lucky with a great spot in the shop window. What terrific dishes! Tapas, at superior quality - every single plate with some special twist. Delicious.

No bookings here so you have to go early or wait. If you get over the stress of gathering your party at 6.30 on a Friday night it's well worth it. Go for the peppers, chorizo, unusual paella, and some Estrella beer

The chef at '22 Ships' is clearly innovating on 'Tapas' here, and I am not complaining. We had a delicious array of Tapas from 'Baked Bone Marrow' and 'Quail Eggs' to 'Baked Beetroot' and 'Scallops'. The textures and flavours were delightful. Nothing was ordinary or...More

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of
Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and
restaurants, both areas are bustling with people –
tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the

The no reservation tapas bar 22 Ships has become one of Hong Kong hottest tables since opening in October 2012 - offering an eclectic menu of modern tapas, served in a buzzy yet relaxed setting, and a dynamic list of sherries, wines, spirits and Spanish beers. Using the best of both European and Asian ingredients, Michelin-star Chef Jason Atherton and 22 Ships’ Executive Chef Lee Westcott bring a modern touch to traditional classics. Westcott, who has strong a Michelin background and has worked with acclaimed chefs such as René Redzepi at Noma, was Head Chef at Tom Aikens Restaurant in London before taking up his role of leading the kitchen at 22 Ships
