This is where I go to get my pho fix in Hong Kong. The pho here is fantastic, the broth is tasty and it really is great value for your money. I recommend this place for a quick cheerful and affordable Vietnamese fix!

Staffed by Vietnamese, this restaurant has been around for a lo get time in a competitive area, testament to its food and service. Prices are reasonable and, though still always busy, there are no longer usually queues outside, which to me means that it is delivering quality rather than trendiness.

We went for lunch and had the noodle soups and the pork rolls. The soups were fab-lots of noodles, meat and full of flavoursome broth. The rolls were not so good-hearted looked great but for us were dry. Nice place with friendly service.

I was visiting a friend of mine who lives in HK and he insisted we go to Nha Trang for "the best Vietnamese in town". I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect as I like my Vietnamese food to be fairly relaxed / no-frills. Needless to say, this place hit all the right notes. The food (we only... More

Great little place with a lively atmosphere with really great staff who know their stuff. We ordered the rice paper rolls with fried fish in the middle as recommended by the waiter. I would normally have not tried this as it sounds so weird but it turned out to be a super star! Warm crispy fish encased in rice paper... More

Excellent modern Vietnamese food in a chic, lively and busy restaurant. All the dishes are great. It is a very successful place, queuing is nearly unavoidable. Recommended!

This very successful restaurant on Wellington Street used to be called “Nha Trang” now goes under the name of “Bep” (“kitchen”, in Vietnamese) and is under the same management as “Bep” on Staunton and “Nha Trang” in Ocean Terminal, Kowloon. We’ve been there frequently, in couple and with friends, and the food was always reliably good. Service level can vary... More

We took a party of 6 to this busy little restaurant. It was very busy and we had to wait at the door for a short while. A real buzz inside. Noisy but nice decor. Food came quickly and was extremely good. Enjoyed the evening and would recommend. Reasonably priced.

Very popular and busy restaurant. Reasonable Vietnamese food at an affordable price. It's a cash only place so remember to go to the atm beforehand!

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
