Tried their 2 persons set meal with surprising fresh sashimi, the Japanese pizza is always good taste and crispy. But the staff are too cool without smile. Should be much better if the staff has the warm service.

Probobly over detailed but to describe this poor annoying experience in its entirety takes some writing. Randomly found this place tonight although about 10 mins after entering I wanted to get up and leave but girlfriend convinced me to stay. Basically we entered and happened to encounter someone who sat us down and gave us a cup of tea each.... More

Had to wait a good 20 mins to be seated but I was aware of that. It was my choice to eat there and to wait. In the meantime I had a chance to review the menu a few times and was really looking forward to my dinner. When I was seated I was offered a cup of tea and... More

This is a good Japanese restaurant in Canton road. Many lunch set available but you can choose also a la carte. Food is good quality and staff is fast but can barely speak English. Price are reasonable.

Good enough for some generic feeding. But the ramen is really salty. Way over seasoned. We pop in for a quick lunch every now and then. It's OK, just don't expect a great feast.

I normally avoid mall-based food, however Watami is an exception. I found myself famished after walking the nearby park (another place I highly recommend) and came here for something nearby in the Silver Cord mall. They have exceptional service, very fair prices, and great food.

It was very crowded, we had to wait 20 mins for a table but it was totally worth it. Fast service and great food. The sushi was generously served and I also ordered a bowl of rice with roasted eel...deliciuos! The prices where ok.

Had the beef sukiyaki and assorted skewers, both were very tasty! The staff were excellent - professional, polite and attentive. The service was quite fast, the prices fair, not too expensive. Yes I'd go again.

Watami is a casual style Japanese restaurant franchise with 18 locations around the city, mostly in second or lower tier malls where they can keep their costs down a bit. Open for lunch through dinner, they specialise in Japanese set meals - meat, seafood rice and noodles. I recently had lunch here and tried their Grilled Garlic Chicken Steak set... More

We used to like going to Watami restaurants in HK because they are a casual dining chain serving good Japanese food. The branch we frequented quite a lot was the one at Citygate, Tung Chung. For the past two years, however, we did not go there as often because we found that not only the food had shrunk in portion... More
